I loved it too, and it really helped me! And I think about it in other contexts when I have my picture taken, imagining the camera as a specific loved one or friend (or pet).

I love the idea of picturing the reader on the other side of the camera—I have such fondness for them, and there’s no way that doesn’t come through. And the book tour as gratitude tour is so lovely and true. What a perfect framing.
